Virtual Tour Guiding NathnNas Travel : Perlang Village

Before we start our journey to the location; allow me to introduce myself, my name is Naswa Alyssa Azahra from the department of English literature, Bangka Belitung university. I am currently in charge of guiding my friends' travels today. I ask the tour participants to check the equipment and supplies that will be brought on the tour. After everything is ready, we can immediately head to the bus and start our visit for the day.

The purpose of our first visit is Perlang Village, I will tell you a little story about this place. Perlang Tourism Village in Central Bangka Regency is included in the top 50 national best tourist villages representing the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands (Babel) in the 2022 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) event. There are 5 destinations that they excel at, namely Lake Pading, Gusung Perlang, Bukit Pading Sadap Waterfall and Traditional House Tour.

However, for this trip, we will mainly visit and travel to Lake Pading. This Lake Pading tourist destination is not even a year old. To be precise, it was only opened as a public tourist location on October 27, 2020. However, the existence of Lake Pading quickly became popular and widely known to the public.
In fact, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno specifically made video calls with youths who have contributed to turning former mining sites into tourist attractions.

Lake Pading has an area of ​​23 hectares. This location can be reached for 90 minutes from Depati Amir Airport, Pangkalpinang. Previously, Lake Pading was a former tin mine. There are parking areas, toilets, prayer rooms, canteens, photo objects, boats to get around the lake, and so on.

Currently, the existence of Lake Pading is not only to indulge the eyes and unwind, but also to become a driving force for the community's economy. We will make a visit to the pading lake. Considering we will visit local natural attractions; please all tour participants to keep the environment clean.

After touring around the pading lake, we will enjoy Central Bangka specialties such as fish soup noodles and Bangka otak-otak which are located in a hut near the lake. A visit to Bangka would be lacking without tasting this special culinary first hand.
